Who we are
Henfield Mexican Street Food is a home-cooked Mexican street food delivery business in Henfield, West Sussex. We are responsible for the personal information described on this page. To ask us anything about it, send us a message on our Facebook Page.
What we collect and why
The menu vote. When you vote, we record the dish you pick and anything you type in the suggestion box, with the date. We do not ask for your name or contact details, so please do not type them in the box. We use the votes to decide the launch menu, which is in our legitimate interests. We keep votes and suggestions while we plan the menu and delete them within 12 months.
Our launch list on Facebook. If you join our launch list through a Facebook or Instagram form, Meta passes us the details you enter, such as your name, email address or phone number. We use them only to tell you about our launch and any launch offer you signed up for, based on your consent. You can ask us to stop at any time and we will delete your details. We delete the list within 12 months of launch.
Running the website. Like every website, our hosting provider handles technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver pages and keep the site secure.
Cookies and browser storage
We do not use any optional cookies. The items below are needed for the site to work.
hmsf-menu-vote
Set by: Us (stored in your browser)
What it does: Remembers that you have voted in the menu vote, so you see the results instead of the form
Kept for: Until you clear your browser storage
Optional: No, needed
Who we share it with
We never sell your information. We share it only with the companies that run things for us: our website hosting and database providers, and Meta for anything you send us through Facebook or Instagram. Some of these companies process information outside the UK. When they do, UK law requires them to protect it to the same standard.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. To do any of this, send us a message on our Facebook Page. We will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this page
If we change how we use your information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
